Relaxed automatic lessons in and around Droitwich Spa, building your confidence on quieter local roads before heading down the A38 into Worcester. Every lesson is taught by Lee, a Grade A DVSA Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) with more than 20 years of teaching locally.
From Droitwich’s calmer streets to the roads around Worcester test centre — lessons that build up at your pace.
We begin on Droitwich Spa's calmer residential and estate roads to build your control and confidence.
Progress to the A38 Droitwich Road and the busier Worcester roads around the test centre.
A calm, patient pace — whether it's your very first lesson or you're getting back behind the wheel.
We teach right across Droitwich Spa and the villages around it, so most lessons start from your own door — whether you’re in the town centre, out towards Copcut and Westlands, or in nearby villages like Ombersley, Hanbury, Salwarpe and Fernhill Heath.
Droitwich is a great place to learn: we start on the town’s quieter residential and estate roads to build your control and confidence, then progress onto the A38 Droitwich Road and into Worcester, including the roads around the test centre. That way the busier city roundabouts and routes feel familiar long before test day.
Complete beginners start on quiet roads around Droitwich, away from busy traffic, while you get comfortable with the controls. If you’ve driven before, lessons start on normal roads at whatever level you’re at. Once you’re more confident, we add faster roads, including the M5 at junction 5 and dual carriageways, so they’re familiar well before you’re driving on your own. Lessons can start from home, school, college or work, wherever suits you, and Worcester test centre in Warndon is only about 10 minutes away.
Every lesson is in a calm, dual-control automatic at a pace that suits you, whether it’s your very first time behind the wheel or you’re returning after a break.
The drive into Worcester matters as much as the lessons around town, because that is where the test centre is. We come down the A38 through Fernhill Heath and into Barbourne, where the bus lane needs a proper shoulder check before you cross it — an easy thing to miss, and easy to get right once you have done it a few times. From there it is the Blackpole junctions and the stop line at the end of Blackpole Road, where rolling over the line is a serious fault. By the time you reach the busier roundabouts on the ring road, none of it is new.
You will learn in a modern dual-control Toyota Yaris Hybrid — smooth, quiet and simple to drive. No gears, no clutch, no stalling: just space to focus on the road and build real confidence at your own pace.
A calm, patient approach built around anxious and first-time learners.
