This policy explains what information Automatic Driving Lessons (“we”, “us”) collects when you use this website or contact us, and how it is used. Automatic Driving Lessons is run by Lee, a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor, who is responsible for your information.
When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, the subject of your message and the message itself.
When you phone, text or send a WhatsApp message, we receive your phone number and anything you choose to tell us, such as your name, where you live and what kind of lessons you are looking for.
When you visit the website, our web host’s servers automatically record technical information that every website receives, such as your IP address, the pages you request, the date and time, and your browser type. We may also record pages that could not be found, together with the page that linked to them and the type of browser, so we can fix broken links.
We do not use analytics or advertising tracking on this website.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing.
Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they are required to protect it with appropriate safeguards.
We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires us to.
We keep enquiry messages only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry. If you become a pupil, we keep the details we need to arrange and manage your lessons for as long as you are learning with us, and delete them when they are no longer needed. Server logs are kept by our host for a limited period for security purposes.
This website does not use cookies for visitors. The WhatsApp chat button stores a small setting in your browser (known as “local storage”) so that it remembers whether you have opened the chat box. This contains no personal information and expires after 30 days. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
The reviews and pass photos on this website are shown with the permission of the pupils concerned. If you appear on the website and would like your review or photo removed, please contact us and we will remove it.
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it, delete it or restrict or object to how it is used, where those rights apply. To make a request, call or text 07912 622192, or use the contact form.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
